On our way home, we got stuck in a snow storm. the four hour drive turned into a 12 hour crawl. The first 30 miles out of the ski resort took 8 hours

No California trip would be complete without a visit to In-n-Out burger. The west coast burger joint serves flamed grilled burgers, but it is famous for its simple menu, consists of only four items; hamburger, cheeseburger, double-double and french fries.

But the truth is far from reality. There exists a secret menu which customer are free to mix and match to come up with almost infinite combination of possibilities

• 4×4 Four beef patties, lettuce, tomato, spread, four slices of american cheese, onions, and regular bun
• Animal Style mustard cooked beef patty, lettuce, tomato, pickle, extra spread and grilled onions
• Double-Meat Two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, spread, onion, and regular bun (no cheese)
• The Flying Dutchman 2 beef patties, 2 slices of cheese. That’s it
• Grilled Cheese two slices of melted american cheese, lettuce, tomato, spread, onion, and regular bun
• Protein Style your favorite burger wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce, instead of a bun
• Veggie Burger a bun with grilled onions, spread, lettuce and double tomato
• Fries Animal Style french fries with secret sauce, onions and cheese on top
• Choco-Vanila Swirl Shake Chocolate and vanilla shakes in the same cup. Swirled, not blended
• Neopolitan Shake strawberry, vanilla and chocolate all swirled together, not blended

How do i like it? Animal style of course!

we started hiking at 730am, and didn’t get back to the valley floor until 8pm. by the end, no one was talking.
