Mama’s on Washington square in San Francisco. It’s down the street from where I live, on weekends the line would go around the block. apparently it’s that good! Picture above is the Monte Crisco, it may look like a generic french toast, but it’s really a sandwich with ham, American cheese, and provolone cheese in the middle. Topped with a strawberry spread, it is delicious. I’d never thought I’d be surprised by breakfast/brunch food, but this simply tastes amazing.

the french toast is good too. Banana bread, Cinnamon bread, and one other that i cannot identify.

Spicy crab in Kep, Cambodia. Kep is a beach town known for its fresh crab. And the pepper is from Kampot. back when France was still a colonial power, every Parisian restaurant imported pepper from Cambodia, according to lonely planet at least.

the last time i was in monterey bay aquarium was way back in middle school. I clearly remember that field trip. I remember the immense penguin tank, the spectacular jelly fish, and the labyrinth corridors. And now, everything seems much smaller and easier to find. But the jelly fish exhibit still amazed me.

Sandwich from a local deli in Carmel. Ingredients: ham, pastrami, bacon, monterrey jack, gouda cheese, tomato, half of a avocado, sweet onions, green leaf lettus, and the ultimate topper – alfalfa sprouts. All of this is wrapped between two deliciously baked french roll.

As one may of noticed, it is taller than it is wide. if eating sandwich can be a degree in universities, then this sandwich would be the PhD thesis, and at one’s thesis defense, one must consume the said sandwich ever so gracefully, in front of a panel of distinquished sandwich aficionados.
